The 2012 Canberra Times Art Show is now closed.

Every year, The Canberra Times Art Show displays over 550 works painted by regional artists and raises vital funds for charity. The art show’s charity, Koomarri, supports people with disability to lead full and abundant lives through achieving and maintaining employment, and by living and participating in their communities. In 2011, The Canberra Times Art Show raised more than $20,000 and has raised nearly $455,000 in funds since 1998 for Koomarri.

In 2011, an estimated 20,000 people visited the area over the course of the show which exhibited more than 600 painting by 252 local artist and 203 paintings were sold.

The art show is unique in providing the opportunity for any artist in the Canberra region a chance to exhibit their work and attracts many buyers who would never visit a commercial gallery.
